Description
Large format paperback, staple bound in stiff pictorial card covers. 8 pages plus covers Illustrated with 9 black and white photographs, 1:72 and 1:48 scale plans and color profiles on rear cover. First edition. This diminutive German fighter design has been referred to as the “most unusual” of the period, which is an understatement and certainly a reflection of English decorousness barring an absence of any aesthetic sensibility. The prototype was ungainly, with a tall and thin fuselage, narrow landing dear and the pilots’ position providing little or no forward visibility, most especially when landing. “The prototype crashed during the flight testing programme” putting an end to the experiment. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh unmarked copy with sharp corners and no creases. Fine.
