Description
Large format paperback, staple bound in white pictorial covers. 32 pages plus covers. Illustrated with 76 rare archive photographs; 5 pages of detailed 1:48 and 1:72 scale drawings by Martin Digmayer and three color profiles by Bob Pearson on rear cover. First edition. The first of two volumes on this aircraft type. Aesthetically the most pleasing aircraft of the series, the C.XII was designed to exceed the qualities of the C.X albeit its performance was about on par with its younger sibling and both planes served out the war together until the armistice. Co-written by German aviation historian Peter Grosz and parenthetically his last Datafile, this monograph focuses on the Albatros built version of the C.XII. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh, unmarked copy with bright covers and no creases. Fine.
