Stated first American edition. Both a personal biography and a “portrait of the age to which she has given her name”, this re-issue of the original 1964 edition has been slightly truncated texturally but adorned with a plethora of photographs, paintings and engravings which bring to life Victoria and her age. No previous ownership marks. Book is clean, tight and unmarked with just a hint of toning to page extremities from age. Dust-jacket is complete, with no tears or chips and some mild toning to inner flaps. Very good+ in a very good dust-jacket.
