Description
Hardcover, black cloth covers and faux leather raised black spine lettered and decorated in gold. Published in Damascus, Syria, text in Arabic. 261 pages. Compiled by Mata’a Tarabishi. First edition thus. Referred to as an Arabian knight from Madhhij of Zubaid clan, Amr was a famous and legendary Arab hero, who roamed the land seeking honor in battles and through poetry. Book is clean, sound, tight, with text unmarked. End-papers show old tape marks from where (acetate?) covers where once affixed. A very nice copy of an exceedingly scarce title. Text entirely in Arabic. Very good. N.B. Please see our scans of title page if available, or if listed on a site without pictures, ask for them to be forwarded. We have researched the book to the best of our abilities but if you read Arabic it may be best to check the accuracy of our translation.
