Fore-edge of book-block foxed, half-title toned and front free end-paper excised, else a nice clean copy. Scarce. Although authorship was originally attributed to Dickens, later investigation has settled on Thackeray as the author, with Dickens probably having written the preface and notes. A very scarce edition of an uncommon title. Not in Podeschi. A very good copy.
