Hardcover, forest green cloth spine lettered in gold over patterned green paper-covered boards, in publisher’s worn slipcase. 173 pages. Illustrated with monochrome drawings by John Steuart Curry. No publishing date, circa 1940-1955. Faded area on front end-papers indicating small book-plate removed. Slipcase, with large printed paste-down, shows moderate wear and white mark on front panel and spine. Book is clean, square, and unmarked but for end-papers mentioned above. A very good copy in a near good slipcase.
