A native of San Antonio, Julian Onderdonk is arguably the most well know Texas ever produced, propelled to that position by his signature bluebonnet landscapes. His sojourn to New York City however garnered no such accolades, though the author has determined that he painted hundreds of paintings while there under several pseudonyms. This book has succeeded in rescuing his lost works. It is the author’s goal to also bring recognition to Onderdonk’s New York efforts, mostly landscapes and marine scenes, as equal to or surpassing in quality his bluebonnet work. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh, unmarked copy. Book is as new, dust-jacket shows fine scratch down rear cover. Fine in a near fine dust-jacket. A large oversize book, Priority and International orders with by charged postage at actual cost.
