Hardcover, small quarto in blue cloth, no dust-jacket. 95 pages. Illustrated with 24 color plates by Donald Maxwell. Includes introductory poem by Rudyard Kipling. Stated first edition, printed in England. One plate nearly detached and several pages, including two plates, show vertical red staining, albeit most staining marginal, with one plate and small amounts of text affected. What appears to be a printed/stampled former owner’s book-plate on front free end-paper. Poor.
