Hardcover, green cloth, no dustjacket. A reprint edition, first published in the 1870’s, this edition circa 1934, but no date indicated. An interesting history of the practice of fully clothed adults sleeping together due the scarcity of beds and lodging. As one might expect the author reproves the practice but neverthelss feels the obligation to explore the underside of history out of a devotion to historical veracity. Very good.
