29 postcard size cartoons (4.5″ x 5.5″) of 32 that were issued, in a printed paper sleeve. This Postcard Issue represents reprints from the book “Poetry Comics: A Cartoonvesrse of Poems,” published by Simon and Schuster. Lacking cards 7.13. and 18. Each card presents a snippet of verse from a well known poet, including William Wordsworth, Emily Dickinson. Alfred Lord Tennyson, Ben Jonson, Robert Browning, John Keats, Allen Ginsberg, et alia. An exceedingly rare collection, even with the three missing cards. No previous ownership marks. No creases or tears. Fragile sleeve is in excellent condition. Near fine.
