Illustrated with black and white and color photographs. First trade edition, first printing with no other printings listed. A memorial volume of the artists work, published by his wife and printed at the Lakeside Press, Chicago. Contents include a lengthy biography of the artist and his art, a section devoted to Boehm’s gardens and aviaries, one highlighting the best of his 350 individual sculptures and a catalogue raisonné of Boehm’s limited edition ceramic sculptures. Previous owner’s name on front free end-paper. A clean, square, unmarked copy with but a touch of age darkening to spine. Linen covered slip-case strong and solid, with no splits, moderate shelf-wear and rubbing to panels. Very good+ in a very good slipcase.
