Description
Large format paperback, staple bound in stiff pictorial card covers. 12 pages. Profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, 3-view drawings and diagrams and the rear cover showing the variations of color patterns. First edition of the initial title in this series. Manufactured by Albatros Flugzeugwerke, the W.4 was a military floatplane, a derivative of the Albatros D.I land-based fighter aircraft, which took to the air in 1916. It’s inclusion in the Mini Datafile series conforms to the publisher’s stated purpose of highlighting lesser known airplane types on the 19-14-1918 conflict. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh unmarked copy with sharp corners and no creases. Fine.
