The Airco DH.10 Amiens was a twin-engined heavy bomber designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and produced by the British aircraft manufacturer Airco. Though there were 1,200 at one pint in time on order, the plane was introduced to late in the war and only saw one combat mission conducted before the Armistice of 11 November 1918. Overtaken by more modern aircraft designs in the 1920’s the DH 10 managed to enter the record book, not as a military aircraft, but as the first airplane to provide night-time mail service in May of 1919. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A clean, internally unmarked copy with moderate yellowing to white covers. Very good.
