Description
Large format paperback, staple bound in white pictorial covers. 36 pages plus covers. Illustrated with 85 rare archive photographs; 9 pages of detailed 1:48 and 1:72 scale drawings by Martin Digmayer and three color profiles by Ronny Bar on rear cover. First edition. The H-12 was the larger progeny of the original H class flying boat constructed in response to the £10,000 prize challenge issued in 1913 by the London newspaper the Daily Mail. It saw service with both the Americans and British and was an effective aircraft against both Zeppelins and submarines. An excellent resource for the scale-modeler and airplane enthusiast. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh, unmarked copy with bright covers and no creases, like new. Fine.
