Includes Whitman’s List of Poems for a Third Edition and Index. Illustrated with photograph of Whitman in 1860 and three pages of holograph text from selected poems. First edition, first printing. “This edition offers a parallel text for a large group of previously unpublished Whitman holograph manuscripts with the first printed appearance of these texts in the 1860, or third, edition of Leaves of Grass.” No previous ownership marks.
