Hardcovers, both volumes in green publisher’s cloth, in non price-clipped dust-jacket. Vol. I 595pp., [1962]; Vol. II 455pp., [1968]. Both volumes are first editions, first printings. Illustrated throughout with fold-out maps, sketch maps, diagrams, and photographs. Both dust-jackets protected by reinforced mylar covers. Inside boards show old toned marks where mylar had been affixed, and volume I has small nick to paper on inner rear gutter. Not ex-libris copies, from a private collection. No previous ownership marks. A very clean, square, unmarked [but for endpapers mentioned above] set in complete dust-jackets with no tears or chips. Two volumes of the official “History of the Second World War, United Kingdom Military Series”, edited by Sir James Butler, focusing on the Allies victorious campaign in North-West Europe.
