Large format hardcover, folio size volume in red cloth, no dust-jacket as issued. Unpaginated. Illustrated with numerous black and white photographs of buildings, captioned and printed on rectos only. No publishing date, circa post war[i.e. 1946-1950]. Essentially a company prospectus providing a brief one page history of their founding in 1854 by Marc Eidlitz and their name change in 1938 to Vermilya-Brown. The majority of structures are in New York City, though some such as Stillman College, Yale University and the U.S. Coast Guard Training Station, Groton, Conn,. venture further afield. Cloth marred but stain at upper fore-edge corner of front cover, Interior clean and unmarked. Good.
