Hardcover, green cloth spine over patterned paper covered boards, in publisher’s slipcase. 740 pages. Introduction by Christopher Hibbert. Illustrated with drawings by Charles Keeping. First Folio Society edition thus. Small circular former owner’s blind-stamp on lower half-title page and his stamp at bottom of title-page. Also an odd shaped stamp on bottom edge of bulked pages (remainder mark?). Else a clean, tight, fresh and unmarked copy. Slipcase shows several stains but is solid, with no slips. Very good in a very good slipcase.
