Two volume set bound in matching slate blue cloth with spines lettered in gold. Brown coated endpapers. Paper on inner hinge of volume I cracked, all hinges strong and sound. Both volumes show old marginal dampstain throughout, not affecting text. A good working set of this first collection of Dickens’ letters published by his sister-in-law and eldest daughter. With faults, a good set.
