First published in 1849, Macaulay’s History had been reprinted numerous times through the 1850’s, this is volume III of the 5 volume set published in 1860. Cloth covers show mild staining and light wear Top edge of bulked sheets show some foxing. Gold spine lettering is worn, and just readable. Interior text is very clean, as are endpapers. Hinges are strong and book is square and tight. Scans on request.
