Hardcover, three-quarter mock vellum over deep purple cloth, emblazoned with gilt coat of arms motif on cover. Original purple cloth dustk-jacket sunned lighter on spine and lightly frayed at top edge. Top edge gilt. Profusely illustrated with line drawings. 351pp. No name, no book-plate, etc. Some incidental foxing just starting to white cloth covers, else a very nice late Victorian cltoh binding. Very good+ in good dust-jacket.
