James Thomas French was a prolific artist, photographer, filmmaker and publisher whose first publishing venture was Lüger Studio, which soon morphed into Colt Studio with a change of partners. State of Man, the publisher of this book, was a division of Colt Studio. A used and worn copy with spine crease, small tear to upper front hinge and rubbing to outer hinges at spine. No previous ownership name or book-plate. Original small upc price sticker on rear cover. Still a good copy overall with all pages firmly attached and all photographs in excellent condition. Good. A scarce example of the artist’s homo-erotic work. Scarce.
