Each print is captioned with the name of the artist in both English and Japanese, albeit the title of the work is in Japanese only. The foreword is in both English and Japanese; a short five page introduction on the Shin-hanga [new plate ] movement in Kyoto printed in Japanese only, as are several essays on the modern print movement on Kyoto, by various authors, printed at the end of the catalog. Finally, a complete list of the prints contained in the catalog, containing the artist, date and title of the work, is presented in both English and Japanese. First edition.
