Catalog for Christie’s South Kensington Tuesday 23 June 1998 sale, COR-8035. 58 pages containing 105 lots, illustrated with color photographs, as well as 105 vignette monochrome photographs of makers marks for each lot. Each lot has a brief text description and a notation identifying the numbered photograph which it describes. Included is the list of prices realized, folded and laid-in loose. “Satsuma pottery was made in, or around Kagoshima in Kyushu, Japan in the later part of the 19th century, through to the early 1920’s in Satsuma in southern Japan”. No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight, uncreased and unmarked copy. Fine.
