Description

Hardcover, quarto volume bound in full brown gilt stamped decorative leather. 300 pages. Introduction by Van Wyck Brooks. Illustrated with a black and white frontispiece and six full page color drawings (two of which are double page) by Norman Rockwell. A quality Easton Press production with all the refinements that go to make this a truly fine binding: silk moire end-papers and bound in ribbon marker, all edges gilt, raised spine, 22kt gold stamping, smyth-sewn binding and full genuine leather. Reprint edition, first thus. Collector’s Edition. No previous ownership marks. A clean, fresh and unmarked copy fine but for a single minute blemish to fore-edge, and slight mark to upper quadrant of spine, albeit no loss to gilt. A near fine copy
