Contains in addition to the 109 black and white Adams’ photographs, a prefatory note by the photographer and “An Essay on the land” by Lawrence Clark Powell. As the half title reads, these photographs were made between 1928 and 1968 in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Utah. First edition, stated first printing.
