Hardcover, brick red cloth lettered and with large Indian in profile on front cover in black, in publisher’s dust-jacket. 340 pages. Illustrated with frontispiece. Reprint of the edition fist published in 1893. No previous ownership marks. End-papers and margins of title-page foxed. Red cloth shows small bleached spot at bottom of spine, else clean and tight. Dust-jacket worn and age soiled, but intact with some chipping and edge wear, mostly confined to lower edge. A sound, square, and generally clean copy in early, albeit, worn dust-jacket. Good in a fair dust-jacket.
