The author’s husband served as Ambassador to Russia at the time of Alexander III’s coronation and latter a the Cout of St. James in Great Britain. Cloth soiled and spotted, with spine lightly sunned albeit gilt lettering still bright. A sound, internally very clean copy of a rare book. Good.
