Edited by Emory Holloway from the text of the edition authorized and editorially supervised by [Whitman’s] literary executors, Richard Maurice Bucke, Thomas B. Harned, and Horace Traubel. Later printing. Old stamp inside front cover reading “damaged, not for sale”, albeit but for a slight nick to cloth at fore-edge of upper cover, no faults were found. Book is clean, tight and unmarked [but for stamp], with no underlining, annotations or other marking to text. Very good.
