Description
Hardcover, bound in full brown gilt stamped decorative leather. 471 pages. Glossary. Introduction and a Dedicatory Epistle to the Rev. Dr. Dryasdust, F.A.S. make up the prefatory material. A quality Easton Press production with all the refinements that go to make this a truly fine binding: silk moire end-papers and bound in ribbon marker, all edges gilt, raised spine, 22kt gold stamping, smyth-sewn binding and full genuine leather. Previous owner’s small round blind-stamp on lower title page. Several light scratches to front board and some loss of gilt to bottom edge of pages. Else a fine unread copy, overall very good or better.
