Essays by both principle authors are supplemented by contributions by various other experts and authorities on Japanese art. Extensively illustrated throughout with color plates. Published on the occasion of the eponymously named exhibition, 16 February to 10 May, 2015; organized by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and co-organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan with the special co-operation of the Tokyo National Museum. First edition. A very nice copy of this exhibition catalog, later published in conjunction with Yale University Press and difficult to source in either edition. No previous ownership marks.
