Illustrated with 32 color plates and 150 reproductions in black and white, with the special linoleum engraving executed by the artist in 1938 for XX’ Siecle present. First edition thus. No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight, and internally unmarked copy. Light foxing to top edge of bulked pages from dust and a touch of age soiling to dust-jacket, with mild wear visible at front tips. Still a superior copy of a desirable book. Very good in a very good dust-jacket.
