While he busied himself with the official duties of a delegate, she turned her trained eye towards discovering the average Russian as the lived their daily lives. A very uncommon travel book and one of the few from the peroiod that were written by someone other than a convert to the Soviet system. Very neat former owner’s name dated Feb. 4, 1934 on fly. Top edge stained red, as issued. A very nice copy with only a touch of finger soiling to cloth.
