Illustrated with three full page color plates and numerous line drawings by Arthur Rackham, as called for. New Edition, first printing thus. Originally published in 1918 this new edition contains the same 41 tales as the original, albeit the color plates were reduced from 16 to 3. No previous ownership marks. A tight, sound and internally clean copy with only mild toning to end-papers. Green cloth faded on spine and showing moderate age soiling to covers. Good. A scarce edition of this title in any condition.
