Presumed first edition, no other printings listed. No previous ownership marks. Laid-in is a separate 22 page pamphlet (quarto, 10.5 inches tall) entitled Notre-Dame de Chartres, being a special issue of the review Notre-Dam de Chartres April, 1976, published in English. Illustrated in black and white and color. Book condition: a clean, tight, sound copy with no marking or writing. Dust-jacket is worn, with considerable edge-wear and toning to spine.
