Illustrated with frontispiece, with tissue guard, and 3 additional plates. First American edition, preceded by a British edition a year previous (1875) of a similar collection issued as “Deacon Pitkin’s Farm, etc.” Mild wear to spine ends and some rubbing to tips and outer joints.
