Lewis’ actually won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1926 for Arrowsmith but declined it. His titular character, the science oriented physician Martin Arrowsmith, however, went to enjoy rousing public success in radio, film and television. No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight, fresh and unmarked copy. Several minor blemishes to gilt on page edges, else fine. A very nice quality leather bound copy. Very good+.
