The present title represents one of the surviving works of the Egyptian historian and poet Ibn Abd al-Zahir (1223-1292 AD) written during the early years of the Mamluk period, and deals with the life and reign of the Mamluk Sultan al-Zahir Baybars who reigned from 1260 to 1277. Ex Library of Congress copy with several stamps, albeit text remains unmarred. A solid, tight, internally clean copy. Text in Arabic. Near very good.
