Hardcover, blue cloth, spine lettered in gold. 603pp., Illustrated with 19 maps [many fold-out] on India paper. No date, circa 1923. Ex-library copy with spine number removed and several previous owner’s labels obscuring ref. numbers on contents page. Extra-illustrated by former owner with color plates crudely affixed to endpapers and prelims. Housed in reinforced mylar covers with wrap-around artwork inserted and title and volume number printed on spine. Paste show through on mounted illustrations, lose to two leafs at lower foredge corners, else book is clean, sound and square. Good. Scans sent on request.
