A privately bound compilation of articles from Purnell’s periodical “History of the Second World War”. Extensively illustrated with color and monochrome photographs and maps. Includes all relevant material from the Battle of the River Plate until the sinking of the Scharnhorst in late 1943. A professionally bound volume by a private collector, nicely done, clean, square and unmarked. No previous ownership marks. Very good+.
