A large octavo volume consisting of three Official U.S. Army pamphlets focusing on different aspects of combat on the Eastern Front during World War II rebound sans covers in one hardcover volume. “Small Unit Actions During the German Campaign in Russia” No, 20-269 was published 1953 and contains 289pp., 40 illustrations, and 51 maps [many fold-out]; “Russian Combat Methods in World War II” No. 20-230 was published 1950 and contains 116pp. and 9 fold-out maps; “Rear Area Security in Russia – The Soviet Second Front Behind the German Lines” No. 20-240 was published 1951 and contains 37pp. and 2 fold-out maps. All three pamphlets are designated ‘restricted’, with the word printed on most pages at top and bottom margins. Strong, professionally bound cloth covers are protected by reinforced mylar covers into which illustrations have been inserted to form an ersatz dust-cover. A very clean, square, unmarked copy with only flaw being mild toned marks inside boards from where mylar had been affixed. Very good+. Scans sent on request.
