This special edition, known as the ‘Patron’s Edition’ is bound in full leather, heavily gilt and with large oval color illustration mounted on front cover. In addition the raised spine is decorated in genuine 22kt gold. All edges gilt. Illustrated with several full color plates created exclusively for this edition by Edward Martinez. First edition thus. Publisher’s ephemera include: COA for the Patron’s Edition as well as a folded oblong card containing biographical information about the author and a typed letter from the publisher, all laid-in loose.
