Hardcover, full dark blue leather with gilt borders on both covers and raised spine stamped and lettered in gold. 371 pages. All edges gilt. With silk ribbon marker bound in, light blue silk moire end-papers and original publisher issued COA (in envelope) laid-in loose. Signed, limited and numbered first edition; number 232/2,500 signed by Nixon on limitation page. No previous ownership marks. Silk moire end-papers show toning to pink at extremities, as per usual and several pages in Index have small black ink marks from printer. Lacking slipcase. A clean, sound, fresh and otherwise unmarked copy with all gilt stamping and edges unmarred and leather binding bright and unmarked. Near fine.
