Retaining all of Gorey’s fantastical illustrations, all unmarked and in excellent condition. An interesting anthropological snapshot a of a life lived in bullet-points, which at time seems a bizarre counter-point to Gorey’s images. The entry for Palm Sunday (April 16) simply reads “kitchen fire”. A fine copy but for previous owner’s daily minutiae that adds a certain charm that cannot be measured by conditional values. Very Good
