Illustrated with portrait frontispiece and facsimile in each volume. First edition. No previous ownership marks. Moderate rubbing to edges of boards and tops of spines. As an ironic counter-point to both literary and personal style a portrait of Katherine Mansfield laid-in loose by former owner, excised from a long gone tome. Top gilt edges darkened with age.
