A quality publication showcasing examples of Chinese bronze sculpture from the second millennium B.C. (the Hsia and Shang periods) to Republic of China beginning in 1921. Examples range from ceremonial bowls and vessels to utilitarian, though no less elaborately decorated, bells, mirrors, and covered food vessels No previous ownership marks. Toning to end-papers, which appears to be from flaps of covers, though none were issued with this series. Possibly an added dust-wrapper or onion-skin, now lacking.
