Hardcover, blue cloth lettered in Latin on cover and Arabic on spine. Ten page preface in Latin, as are footnotes, followed by approximately 400 pages of Arab text. Fragments of the History of the Arabs, The first volume, containing the third part of the work Kitabo ‘l-Oyun wa ‘lhadaik fi akhbari ‘ll-hakaik. Title page dated 1869, albeit this edition was apparently part of a two volume set containing Sexta Operis Tadjaribo ‘l-Omami, auctore Ibn Maskowaih [The Sixth Work of Tadjaribo ‘l-Omami’ by Ibn Maskowaih], with both titles included on second title page dated 1871. No previous ownership marks. Gold tyoe on front covers somewhat faded. A clean, tight, unmarked copy. Very good.
