Hardcover, dark blue cloth in publisher’s beige slipcase. 347 pages. Illustrated with color and black and white drawings by Dale Nichols and map end-papers. Sandglass laid-in. First Heritage Press edition, (1941). No previous ownership marks. Spine sunned to light brown, with gold lettering still bold. Slipcase shows old clear tape repair to split at lower edge, now yellowed. A clean, sound, tight and unmarked copy in clean, intact slipcase. Very good in good box.
