Title pages state, ” by the author of ‘Waverley’, ‘Tales of the Crusaders,; etc.” Partially unopened. Only light sporadic foxing visible all three volumes. Volume 3 has old marginal dampstain and moderate wave to text leaves, but otherwise the set is in near fine condition. A very well preserved example of this early utilitarian binding, and very rare in such good condition. Wolff 6233.
