Hardcover, small folio sized volume [12″ tall] bound in blue denim colored cloth boldly lettered in gold, with large pictorial paste-down on upper cover. No dust-jacket, protected by clear acetate cover. 197 pages. Illustrated with 133 black and white photographs. First, limited edition thus. One of a total edition of 6,250 copies, this being one of 5,000 of which 2,500 were bound as hardcover and 2,500 hundred as softcover. The entire text of the 1882 edition is here presented, augmented by many hitherto unpublished contemporary photographs. A pristine copy.
